Opening Ceremony National Anthems
The Maccabi Games Opening Ceremony is a once-in-a-generation moment for Kansas City — and we’re inviting individuals, groups, and ensembles from our community to help bring it to life.
We are seeking community singers of all ages to perform the national anthems of the United States, Canada, and Israel at the JCC Maccabi Games Opening Ceremony on Monday, August 3, 2026.
- You do not need to be a professional singer.
- You do not need prior performance experience.
- If you are part of the Kansas City community and want to lend your voice to this moment, we encourage you to submit.
Who Can Participate
- Open to individuals, groups, and ensembles
- All ages welcome
- Must be connected to the Kansas City Jewish community
- No prior singing experience required
- Volunteer (unpaid) opportunity
Selected participants will be coached and supported by the artistic team at POP Project KC.
How to Submit a Video Audition

Record a short video (1–2 minutes) of you singing the entire anthem a cappella
